Sport + mode in the TLX is uh...not good

I’ve found the first thing that I dislike about this car, for better or worse, in less than a month. Sport + mode in non “manual” mode is trash. Far too many gears with a car that’s trying to be aggressive = bad time.

The good news is that there’s still not horribly jerky shifts

Yeah, I remember my TLX loaners only changed a few hundred RPM between shifts. Seemed not worth it.
